SHE's BACK!! Rihanna debuted her first video for her bonus single "Wait Your Turn (The Wait is Ova)" today via her Web site RIHANNANOW.com from her forthcoming album Rated R due in November 23rd. Though its her second single, I think she made the right choice by releasing "Wait Your Turn (The Wait is Ova) as her first video. Famed director Anthony Mandler definitely did his thing, the video features only her. Crazy jewelry, crazy fashion, and an even crazier song. Listen to the lyrics its definitely more than a hot beat and killer hook. Im sure i will be walking around campus blurting out, "The Wait is ova, the wait is ova." lol. Dream and Tricky you did it again. Check out the video below, you wont be disappointed. I wasn't!!!

Kanye West's "GLOW in the DARK" concert book...

KanYe has done it again. His Glow in The Dark concert book hit the major bookstores online earlier this month and im still in awe. I want, NO, I NEED this book in my collection. The Glow in the Dark tour was my first ever concert so this book holds some sentiment to me. I use to constantly tell my friend Samantha how i wish i had something memorable from the concert besides his mini book Thank You and You're Welcome (which i read daily by the way), its my inspiration.

Famed director and photographer Nabil Elderkin is the genius responsible for the photos in Ye's Glow in The Dark book and the promo video below. Elderkin's directorial work includes Kanye West videos "Paranoid" and "Welcome to Heartbreak" and other works such as John Legend's "PDA" and K'Naan's "T.I.A." Nabil Elderkin's photography is crazy and hands down he's my favorite photographer. To check out the work of Nabil Elderkin visit his Web site here .

If I.....

If I haven't been the slackest person at Winthrop University this semester, someone point out the person worse then me.

Before starting this semester, my friends and I talked about how this semester would be a change for us and how we were gonna get it together. It was definitely a change all right. One for the WORSE. This semester I have found myself doing the bare minimum and when i say "bare minimum" I mean the MINIMUM. In all my classes this semester I have found myself doing average work just enough to get me by. If one of my professors asked for a paper to be 3-5 pages I did exactly 3, hell sometimes I had to cheat the margins to make it exactly 3. Bad, huh? I know, please don't judge me though. This semester has been one of growth for me. I have questioned my major, my friends and most of all my future in college. Yes, I, Johnathan Cruse thought about giving up. Can you believe it? I know, me either. So i quickly slapped myself in the face and got it together. I know college is my only path and Winthrop University is the best place for me to continue my education.

I have learned through the below average grades, my constant tiredness and the looks of my professors that I must do better. I have so many people in my life that are counting on me and wishing me well. My worst fear is to upset those that have the most confidence in me.

So to begin my master plan of "Operation Johnathan Get Your Shit Together in these Last 2 Weeks." First I have stopped working so much as a Nigh Host (I'm finally figuring that out with two weeks left). Second i am taking advantage of these things called "office hours" that my professors have(Can you say your boy AIN'T TO PROUD TO BEG). Lastly, STUDY STUDY STUDY..SLEEP is for the weak and MEDIOCRE. I'm IMMACULATE and EXTRAORDINARY and i will not take any classes over.

So this is it. It FEELS so good to be back in the Blogosphere. But I DIGRESS.
