Be Smart, Dont be a Retard

I have been fortunate enough to be one of the few students on Winthrop's campus to have the job of Night Host. When applying for the Night Host job I saw it as a job of convenience. Easy money, little or no work, and great time to study. Its really an ideal job for any all nighter. My usual job post is in Richardson Hall, an all male predominantly freshmen dormitory, "Yeah I know." The job is great and a blessing to have, but the freshmen this year are naive, slow and DUMB.
I apologize if I offend anyone but I must call it how I see it. I don't remember me or my class being this SLOW. The guys and girls can't seem to grasp the concept that visitation is ONLY self-regulated Friday and Saturday, so that means that if you are a guest of the opposite sex you must be checked OUT by midnight Sunday-Thursday. Another thing that gets on my nerves about these freshmen is that they cant read. Richardson Hall like many other dorms on campus have designated doors that residents can not come in or out after certain times usually midnight and if those designated doors are open the alarm sounds.
So someone PLEASE tell ME WHY these CREEPS constantly go out of them. Obviously they don't care or don't take the time to read the BIG RED STOP sign on the door that says "STOP" alarm will sound and if caught a fine will be administered of $25. Those assailants don't understand that every time a door is open and an alarm sounds that only I hear it and I must leave my chair and go check the door, at this point my job no longer becomes one of convenience and no work, but one of aggravation.
I don't want to a mean Night Host person, I myself hate people who take their jobs to serious all I ask is for you to make my life and job one of convenience and easy and I will return the favor.

Thanks

Ha. This post is so hilarious. I can't see you being mean to anyone, but lay the smack down if you must.

LOL, this is kind of funny. But to run to the defense of these clueless freshmen, I did the same thing as a transfer student in "The Nance" last year as a sophomore, in fact, I tested the visitation policy on numerous occasions. I guess its the thrill of living in a new place! :)

Samone I guess I could see it your way but you must come down one night and experience it yourself the kids are SLOW. I dont mind them trying to test the guest policy just dont be slow about it.

Well, I've tripped that alarm before mostly because that door was the easiest to get out to go somewhere else.
